By creating an account or using Waevo you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Waevo.
1. Eligibility — you must be 18+
Waevo is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use it. By using Waevo you confirm you meet this requirement. Providing false age information is a violation of these Terms and may be unlawful.
2. Your account
Sign in with Apple or Google, and provide accurate sign-up details. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your sign-in secure. Don't impersonate others, create accounts to evade a ban, or use the service on behalf of anyone under 18.
3. Community rules
Waevo only works if people feel safe. You agree not to:
- Show or share nudity, sexual content, or sexual activity on camera or in messages.
- Harass, threaten, bully, or hate on anyone.
- Engage with, groom, or endanger minors in any way.
- Post violence, self-harm content, or anything illegal.
- Scam, spam, solicit, advertise, or run commercial schemes.
- Impersonate people or misrepresent who you are.
- Record, screenshot, or redistribute others without consent.
- Attempt to break, abuse, or reverse-engineer the service, or evade our safety systems.

4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create (your photos, bio, and messages). You grant us a limited licence to host, display and transmit that content solely to operate the service (for example, showing your profile to people you meet and delivering your messages). You're responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Waevo offers optional paid plans — Plus and Max. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their terms. Key points:
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You're charged at the start of each period.
- Manage or cancel any time in your App Store / Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the current period ends.
- Prices, plans and any promotional offers may change; changes won't affect a period you've already paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- Free accounts see ads; Max removes them.
6. Referrals
When a friend joins as a brand-new member through your invite, both of you may receive a free week of Plus. Referral rewards apply only to genuine new Apple/Google sign-ups. Abuse — self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts, or other manipulation — voids rewards and may lead to account action.
7. Moderation & termination
We use automated on-device screening and user reports to keep Waevo safe, and we may review reported activity. We can remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk — including through an escalating ban system for repeat violations. You may stop using Waevo and delete your account at any time.
8. Our intellectual property
Waevo, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any right to use them except to use the app as intended.
9. Disclaimers
Waevo connects you with other people, and we can't control how everyone behaves. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that matches, calls, or the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Always use your own judgement when meeting or talking to people you don't know.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waevo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of other users. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that can't be limited under applicable law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Waevo after changes means you accept them.
